For prospective partnership businesses

Consider the opportunity. See the full picture.

A commercial partnership should make sense beyond a headline share of revenue. Review the underlying business, the terms and the responsibilities before you decide. An active account is not eligibility.

What the proposed relationship involves

One business may process orders associated with another, using processing facilities it already has. RevRouters introduces the parties and keeps the assessment orderly. It does not move the funds, route the transactions, or replace the processor.

This is not spare capacity to rent out. Participation is a commercial relationship with obligations. Existing operations can be affected by reserves, monitoring, disputes and the processor’s rules. That effect is not something the introduction can promise away.

What you should expect to see

  • The merchant’s legal name and who owns it
  • What is sold, and where
  • The website and the customer journey
  • Processing history, including any suspension
  • Proposed compensation, as written terms rather than a slogan
  • Who receives settlement, and who can change it
  • What access is proposed, and what is refused
  • Who handles refunds, disputes and losses
  • How the relationship ends

How compensation is defined

Compensation is whatever the parties later agree in writing. RevRouters does not publish a percentage, because none has been set. A revenue share, a fee or another structure exists only inside an agreement. A conversation is not that agreement.

Access and control

Any access has to be specific: who can view the account, who can refund, and who can change payout details. Passwords are not shared. Saying you remain in control is not enough. Control depends on the permissions the processor actually allows, the contract, and the people who can act.

Financial responsibilities

Refunds, chargebacks, fines, reserves and held funds need an owner. That owner is set by the processor’s terms and by the partnership agreement. If the documents do not name the owner, the arrangement is not ready.

Required permission

If your account would take payment for another business’s orders, the processor has to permit that actual arrangement. An active account is not permission. A private contract is not permission. RevRouters’ willingness to make an introduction is not permission.

Processing stays off

Until permission is verified for the stated merchant, products, website and payout design, processing does not start. The review console in this preview cannot switch it on.

How the assessment runs

  1. 01

You describe the business, the provider and what participation would be for.

  2. 02

Both sides’ information is compared with what a processor would need to see.

  3. 03

Commercial terms, access and responsibilities are written in plain language. Missing pieces stay missing.

  4. 04

Nothing goes live unless permission and agreements are actually complete.

Questions from partnership businesses

Is RevRouters a payment processor?

No. RevRouters provides assessment, introductions and, where it is later available, transition support. The payment provider processes under its own arrangements. This site does not claim to be a processor, a facilitator or a merchant of record.

Can I request an assessment after a Stripe suspension?

Yes. Provide the notice, the business and the relevant history. An application does not establish eligibility and does not guarantee an arrangement. It does not switch the frozen account back on.

Will customers need to enter payment details again?

That depends on the method, the providers and any authentication. Expected customer action should be named before a transition. Zero friction is not promised.

Can we move away from Stripe in stages?

That is the intended shape of Control, once it is available: define what moves, what stays and when responsibility changes. Scope has to be agreed before implementation. It is not available as a live product here.

Are earnings or approval guaranteed?

No. Compensation depends on terms that have not been set on this site. Provider acceptance and permission are separate decisions. Nothing here is passive income.

Will RevRouters ask for account passwords?

No. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, full card numbers or security codes. If someone claiming to be this service asks, stop and use the complaints route.

See the fit. Then decide.

The assessment asks for the awkward details on purpose. It is not a request to hand over a login.
