Multiple Websites on One Stripe Account

Several sites can feed one account only if they are the same seller and the same story. A new domain is not a new standing.

On this page

Stripe underwrites the business on the account. Additional websites are fine when they are honestly that business: same owners, products you disclosed, customers who can tell who they paid. They are not fine when the second site is a different merchant borrowing the standing of the first.

A second website does not reset the review.
The account is underwritten for a seller. Extra sites are extra promises that seller must own.

What is actually moving

A restriction looks at the account, not at the domain you wish were separate. Pointing a new site at the same account, or a new account at a lookalike site, does not split the history. It adds a question: why does the story keep changing shape.

  • Same owners.
  • Disclosed products.
  • A descriptor the customer can recognise.
  • No borrowed standing.

What people confuse it with

If the sites sell different risk, say so before the volume arrives. Long-delivery goods hiding under a fast digital brand is a classic way a review starts.

Not a reinstatement method

Nothing in this note switches a Stripe control off, quotes a secret threshold, or suggests another login as a remedy.

What to do with it

List every site that can create a charge, and make the seller match.

  1. Name the legal entity once.
  2. Name each site and what it sells.
  3. Remove any site that is actually someone else’s business.
  4. If a notice arrives, do not launch a fresh domain as the reply.

What this briefing is not

It is not legal, tax or card-scheme advice, and it is not Stripe’s policy. Your notice and Stripe’s terms control the account. RevRouters does not process payments, does not lift a freeze, and does not offer another business’s account as a remedy.

Questions on this note

Can I add an unrelated brand to my account to help a friend?

No. That is their business on your standing. It is the sharing problem with a logo on top.

Will a new domain avoid a restriction on the old one?

No. The restriction is on the account and the people. A domain is not a person.
