Some restrictions come with a way to respond. The response is evidence about the business that took the charges: who owns it, what was sold, how it was delivered, what the descriptor said. It is not a chance to rebrand as a safer category, a shorter delivery time, or a different set of owners.
You are explaining the account. You are not launching a different company in the reply box.
What is actually moving
Reviewers can see the charges. A letter that describes instant digital goods, while the charges are twelve-week projects, does not read as an appeal. It reads as a new misrepresentation, which is a reason to close rather than restore.
- The charges already describe the business.
- The site should match the charges.
- A new category is a new claim.
- Owners do not change for the convenience of the letter.
What people confuse it with
If the business really has changed, say what changed, when, and what you will do with the orders already taken. Do not pretend the change was always true.
Not a reinstatement method
What to do with it
Answer the account you have.
- Restate the product in the words a customer would use.
- Attach the documents the notice named.
- Do not attach a new pitch deck that contradicts the site.
- If you also ask for a partnership assessment, use the same description. Two stories fail both readers.

Questions on this note
Does a polished appeal get the account back?
No. A true, complete reply is the part you control. Stripe decides. Tone does not outrank the charges.
Can I appeal and open a new account at the same time?
Opening a lookalike account while you appeal is the pattern that makes both worse. Do not do it.
